Beth has worked in more than 25 countries in Africa and Asia. She was a foreign correspondent for The Associated Press, specializing in stories about everyday people in the far corners of the world.

Beth was then a Knight Fellow at Stanford University, where she developed a digital platform to tell stories about women and girls. She is now the communications manager for Stanford Health Policy, writing about health policy and innovation by Stanford faculty and researchers.

Beth is also working on a memoir about her relationship with one small village in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
