Beth is a journalist who has worked in more than 25 countries in Africa and Asia. The Pulitzer Prize-nominated foreign correspondent for The Associated Press specialized in stories about everyday people in the far corners of the world.
She was a Knight Fellow at Stanford University, where she developed a digital platform to tell stories about women and girls. She is now the communications manager for Stanford Health Policy, reporting on health policy and medical innovation by Stanford faculty and researchers.
Beth is also working on a memoir about her relationship with one small village in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
